Platform
The final version of Indie Reads will be an App-based platform with a built-in ereader. It will also follow a continuous improvement model, adding content and capabilities over time.
Authors
Authors will have control over what content they share and at what tiers. They will be able to connect and chat with readers and other authors. They can also find beta readers, ARC reviewers, and editors.
Readers
Readers pay a monthly subscription fee to get access to content. There will be suggestions based on preferred genres and favorites. Readers can request signed copies and special editions directly from authors, and correspond back and forth with authors and other readers. Notifications of new and upcoming releases will be sent directly to your phone.

Collective
Indie Reads is based on the Collective business model of shared equity amongst all authors. Authors have input on platform development and decisions. They receive consistent, monthly income drawn from subscriber fees, regardless of performance. High performers are incentivized by bonus add-ons above the base pay.
