I didn’t grow up with my nose buried in books—I was the kid reading cereal boxes and magazine articles, always chasing answers, always asking questions. Looking back, I realize that my boundless curiosity and fast-paced mind weren’t just quirks; they were signs of the audio/visual learner and the ADHD brain no one knew how to spot back then. It wasn’t until I worked in a middle school and discovered the magic of audiobooks that I truly fell in love with fiction—especially YA. Stories finally came alive in a way that made sense to me.

For fifteen years, I worked within the school board, especially with the ESE (Exceptional Student Education) community, where I learned so much—not just about others, but about myself. That experience shaped how I view learning, life, and storytelling. I'm a proud wife of 40 years, mom of two amazing sons (one of whom is autistic), and pet parent to Cali the cat and Reggie the chihuahua. Our home is full of love, quirks, and stories waiting to be told.

My writing journey began over a decade ago with a novel that still waits patiently in my drawer. After caring for my mom during her battle with a rare form of Alzheimer’s (PCA) and navigating the challenges of caregiving during and after the pandemic, I returned to writing as a way to heal, to reflect, and to create. This time, I’m ready to share my stories with the world.
