My name is Erin (author name E.K. Larson-Burnett), and I'm a multi-genre author and editor!

I have three books out as of Tuesday (Prickle entered the world on 11/4 in a most underwhelming way because KDP is being an absolute spud about populating my physical editions) —

• The Bear & the Rose (mythological sapphic fantasy),

• A Madness Unmade (book 1 of my gaslamp fantasy duology),

• and my first foray into horror, Prickle.

I love writing the weird and the whimsical while also spotlighting mental illnesses in a raw, realistic way.

As a person living with severe anxiety and agoraphobia, I'm very much a homebody! When I'm not writing, reading, or editing (I'm a proofreader at Atmosphere Press by day & a freelance copyeditor by night), I'm usually snuggled up with my two pittie rescues, trying to keep my brain busy with puzzles, video games, nail art, crafts of all kinds (collage journaling & miniature bookstore-making are some favorites), and building Lego sets when the money is good (lol).

I'm here because I'm currently very much discouraged with self-publishing, and I'd LOVE to make some new author friends to keep me motivated & hold me accountable. I was part of a very close-knit writers' group chat on Instagram years ago, and there's been a hole in my heart ever since it fell apart. Most groups I've seen are hosted on Discord, which frankly I just don't like using, so I'm very excited to be here!
