Mae is a writer of children’s books originally from Missouri, United States. She has been writing off and on since childhood. While only recently in 2023, started writing again and made the leap into publishing a story that has been in her mind for years, The Bug and the Bee – The Case of the Missing Pie.

“I have always enjoyed reading and getting lost in a good book. The characters from the Bug and Bee series are my family’s beloved pets. I thought it would be cute to see them as half bug characters and go on silly little adventures. I hope you enjoy their shenanigans!”

When she is not writing, she enjoys being with her husband and their two tiny goblins (oh sorry I mean children), being outside, cooking and reading. She also enjoys arguing with her Labrador Retriever and two cats who think they’re dogs.
