When a person is hungry, really-really hungry, they’ll go through just about anything to get a bite. Take Out is about a hungry man doing just that. When Chinese food is ordered and our protagonist’s hungry belly doesn’t have the money to cover his order, his roommate puts his foot down. A stubborn man his roommate. Without the $14 for his share he will not let him eat. So our hungry belly goes to the only option it has, a place called Quick-Job. An establishment that offers quick and simple low paying compensation for quick and simple jobs. Rushing to the Quick-Job, our hungry belly gets the day’s last job slip just before they close. And the job, although sounds quick and simple, is the farthest thing from it. Take Out is a farce, a thriller, and mostly just nonsense.
