The Other

Can love triumph over evil from Hell itself?

Donald Leal is slowly losing himself, and Beverly, his wife, is trying to hold on. Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Don’s mind is falling apart. Married for 40 years, Bev will happily shoulder the burden of caring for Don.

But it’s more than just foggy thoughts and forgotten memories. Something dark lurks behind Don’s eyes, and drives him to despicable action.

It calls itself The Other. When it’s in control, Don changes into something unrecognizable, a stranger in their house, who laughs at trauma and relishes in death.

Bev soon realizes her husband isn’t just facing dementia.

The Other delights in pain and misery, and feeds off the love between Bev and Don. It surfaces more and more, hurting Bev whenever it can, and she desperately searches for a way to cure her husband.

As it pushes Bev closer and closer to the breaking point, she must answer a terrible question.

The newest residents of Fleet, Texas are out for blood.

The town of Fleet, Texas is dying, and long-time resident Ebner Graves can only watch. Ebner grew up in Fleet, fought for it in Vietnam, grew old there, and now it’s drying up.

Until the addition of Sunny Meadows, a planned community on the city’s outskirts. Built by foreign investor Oskar Fuchs, it’s bringing wealth back into the area, and Fuchs wants more. He’s buying up property all over town, and making generous offers with old money. But Ebner’s not buying it. Fuchs isn’t what he seems, and Ebner won’t see his town become something he hates.

And then townsfolk start dying.

Everyone who stood in the way of Fuchs, all ripped apart in gruesome murder. Suspicious, Ebner sneaks into Sunny Meadows and finds the source of the killings.

Vampires.

Sunny Meadows is their den, and Fuchs their master. Now Ebner must stop him, before Fleet is bled dry.

Splatterfest

This year's Splatterfest will be a real killer.

Horror film convention Splatterfest is a haven for the goriest, grimiest, and weirdest horror films in the world. This year it's bigger than ever in a special location, the Kalman compound, the site of a cult massacre. The spotlight is on the premiere of Midnight Star, a film about the cult and its gruesome end.

Thousands are attending, including horror fanatic Stephanie Watts. Steph is working the event, using the opportunity to meet her favorite stars. Guests include legendary directors, renowned scream queens, and infamous movie monsters. It's not all fun and games, however, as Steph sees the ugly side of Hollywood, filled with spite and backstabbing. Despite the hiccups, everything is running smoothly.

But then the celebrities start dying.

Looking like accidents at first, Steph finds connections to the long-dead Midnight Star cult, and suspects murder. Someone is targeting the stars, and it may be one of their own. As the death count rises, Steph must find the killer before it's too late.

If she fails, Splatterfest will live up to its name.

Deep below the water, something waits.

Journalist Moira Bell is in the Florida Keys to cover climate change, but her investigation soon reveals a series of unreported disappearances on Blackwell Key. Disappearances noteworthy only because the missing people always come back.

Moira ties the disappearances to Butch Blackwell, chief of police and direct descendant of the original settler of Blackwell Key. He’s hiding something on his private island, just offshore. With a massive hurricane approaching, Moira has little time.

When Moira sneaks her way onto his island, she finds a dark obelisk. A bloody ritual. Worship of something beyond our world. Something long asleep.

Moira must stop Butch before he awakens something that will undo the Earth.

This Halloween, Hell comes to Laurel City.

Laurel City doesn’t celebrate Halloween and Mike Dawson wants to change that. New in town, he’s going to throw the biggest Halloween party the town has ever seen. But Reverend David Laurel stands in his way. Laurel is a direct descendant of the founder of the town, and Halloween is more than just a celebration of sin. It is a direct attack on control of his city, and he won’t surrender it without a fight. Mike and his children are drawn into a feud over the holiday, and Mike won’t back down despite pressure from Laurel.

And then the killings start.

The town is thrown into chaos by brutal murders, and Laurel blames them on the sinful holiday. But Laurel has a secret. Deep in his church lies an ancient book, bound in red leather. It contains terrible power, written in an inhuman language. Reverend Laurel will do anything to stop Halloween.

Death waits underneath the ice.

Mary Jensen, a trained medic, needs a new start and she’s getting one at Research Station Tau, in remote Antarctica. Called in as an emergency replacement, Mary soon finds out Tau’s mission: to find a lost elementary particle, deep down in the ice.

Dr. Ian Schuller, the station lead, thinks the particle is the key to humanity’s evolution. As they drill into the ice, complications arise and Mary starts to worry about his sanity. As he pushes harder and harder for results, the group begins to fracture.

And then the hallucinations start.

Something is in the ice, and it is changing them.

Now Mary must survive, and face what’s underneath.
