An elf known for his ability to get in and out of tricky situations is sent on a mission into the Wild Wood. Living plants make up the majority of the foliage there, which makes the increased presence of fallen elves odd. Aelsun is tasked with figuring out why the fallen elves have decided to congregate in a place that could kill them. Along the way Aelsun may figure out more about himself and his people than the enemy. Between the odd behavior of the Ivelk and a childhood fairy tale, Aelsun finds himself in a new type of mission, which isn’t common for him anymore.
