Hello!

My name is Win Wilkins and I write horror, crime, and sci-fi stories. I published my fourth novel in September 2025 and have the first in my trilogy coming out most likely in January.

I'm a department manager in a grocery store and work a lot. The good thing is that the pay sucks, so I'll get to do this into my 80s! Yay!! When I'm not there regretting poor life choices, I'm typically at home finding ways to stay alive as my evil dog plots my death. Luckily, belly rubs and treats distract him from executing his nefarious plan. When he sleeps, I write most of the time or read and adjust completed stories.

I took time off from writing when COVID hit because work hours were incredibly long. I had one day off in a five month period, and there were numerous times where I worked 2 months with no day off. I had completed seven stories and had three others partially done. When I started writing again in 2023, I began publishing. Over the last almost 3 years, I've published four of the seven. Five is ready, except the cover, and six is ready to go into editing. I just have to rewrite seven and the three partials. Once I'm on those partials, I'll be writing something new for the first time since 2020. I'm backed up!! My head is exploding with ideas that I'm almost ready to deal with. Unfortunately, I'm in this mess because I had no idea how to properly write. I feel like that's mostly corrected, but rewriting all my old stuff has been...time-consuming.

Anyway, I have more to learn and I'm looking forward to great conversations with all of you. It may take me a few days to reply, but I will. Remember, between an amazingly rewarding job (joking!) and a satanic, plotting, conniving beast of a dog (not joking!), the crawl to the computer is not always possible daily.

I would simply pass away if I worked that much without having time off, especially during COVID. Good on you for remaining alive!
